Crypto, where the audience checks your on-chain footprint.
Protocols, exchanges, wallets and infrastructure. Technical audiences do not tolerate hand-waving and regulatory audiences do not tolerate vagueness. The fastest way to lose this audience is to write something they can check and find wrong.
| Layer | Written down |
|---|---|
| Claim | Rollup settlement cost fell 71% after the upgrade. |
| Evidence | On-chain: 30-day median, block range cited, dashboard linked. |
| Counterargument | Volume also fell 18% in the window; here is the per-tx view. |
| Boundary | No token performance commentary. No jurisdiction-specific regulatory advice. |
Category realities
Agencies produce crypto content that reads like a hype cycle three years out of date. Voice programs without on-chain literacy get called out immediately, in public. Regulatory explainers that flatten jurisdiction complexity create liability.
A protocol engineer with the block explorer open in the next tab, and a policy analyst who will quote the post in a comment letter.
Frameworks the writing has to respect
The frameworks move quarterly. The positions have to be durable underneath them.
| Framework | Jurisdiction | What it constrains in the writing |
|---|---|---|
| VDA taxation and reporting, FIU-IND registration | India | What an exchange or wallet may say about tax treatment, and who may operate. |
| MiCA | EU | Marketing communications for crypto-assets, stablecoin claims, white paper requirements. |
| SEC and CFTC guidance, state money-transmitter rules | United States | Token performance commentary, securities language, custody claims. |
| MAS PSA, VARA | Singapore, UAE | Licensing claims and who may market to whom. |
| FATF travel rule | Global | What can be said about compliance in comparison content. |
Three pitfalls, written from work we have had to correct
A post claimed a throughput figure. Someone checked the block explorer and posted the real one under it.
Written for Singapore, shared in the US. Wrong on custody, and quoted in a comment letter.
A voice program post drifted into price. The boundary had not been written down.

One question we always get
Will you write about tokens?
Bring the number you can prove on-chain. We will write the position around it.
